Trash Customers to Receive Survey

Customers will receive charges for trash collection as part of their City Utilities bill in January based upon the trash receptacle(s) they currently have. In addition, they should receive a letter of explanation and a survey form where they can state their preferred container size and number. The form also includes questions aimed at measuring community support for a curbside recycling program

IUPUC and City of Columbus Cooperate on a Community-Centric Report

As a graduation requirement, Sarah Cragen, created a special community report for the City of Columbus. This was completed with the direction of Larita Killian Ed.D., CPA, Assistant Professor of Accounting- IUPUC; Judy Johns Jackson, Executive Director of Community Development; and Chuck Boll, Director of Human Resources.

The report required the communication and coordination of information from City Department Heads and analysis of the City budget.
After graduation, Sarah hopes to find a position in government.
