Lifeguards in ActionVigilance Awareness Training & Emergency Action Plan As a part of our ongoing training, we will randomly place a mannequin “Timmy” in the pool to keep our guards Rescue Ready! Occasionally during the 3:00pm break, you will also get to see our guards in action as we will simulate an emergency situation that will require the lifeguard team to respond. Special Swim

The Donner Swim Club offers a
year-round program for the child
or adult interested in competitive

Donner Aquatic Center has added a 3rd basketball
goal for the younger crowd in the leisure pool.
Come and enjoy a game of 21, horse or just shoot and
splash!
Donner Pool first opened to the public on July 4, 1948. The pool was donated by William Donner.
Come and celebrate Donner Aquatic Center's 60th Anniversary on Sunday, July 6th from 12 noon to 6 pm.
Day's activities will include music, games, races, sidewalk chalk art and Speed Stacks. A reception for current and former members of Donner Swim Club, the Donner Pool/Donner Aquatic Center lifeguard staff, former Aqua Queens and contestants and former Youngest Swimmer winners will be held from 2-4 in Donner Center.
Tuesday, August 5th, 6:30-8:30 pm
Join us for dinner from 5-6:30pm and swimming in Donner Pool from 6:30-8:30pm. No Family Swim on Wed, Aug. 6th.
As school gets ready to re-open, show your school spirit. Anyone wearing a t-shirt, sweatshirt or cap with your school name or mascot on the front will receive admission for $1. Elementary school thru college logo clothing will be acceptable. There will be fun games based around local schools. Which school will have the most students and supporters at the pool?

Doggie Swim returns following a successful event last year. Bring your pooch for a season ending swim at Donner Pool. Each dog must be accompanied by an owner or adult handler. This event is held in cooperation with Columbus Animal Control & Columbus Animal Rescue Effort (CARE). Representatives of companies providing pet supplies and services will be on hand. No pre-registration required. Fee: $5/dog ($3 will be contributed to CARE spay & neutering program.)
