Hockey Programs: Youth and Adult

Youth Hockey

Intro to Hockey Skating( Basic 1 and Basic 2)
You must pass Basic 2 to participate in Intro to Hockey. Then proceed to Beginner Hockey Basics 

Beginner Hockey Basics
30 minutes of instruction on basic skating and hockey skills. All skaters will be in full hockey gear, available at Hamilton Center. 30 minutes of optional practice time will be available on the small ice prior to the start of class. (Must complete Basic 2 Skating class or instructor referral).

Intermediate Hockey Basics
30 minutes of instruction on intermediate hockey skating and hockey skills. All skaters will be in full hockey gear, available at Hamilton Center. 30 minutes of optional practice time will be available on the small ice prior to the start of class. (Must complete Beginner Hockey Basics or instructor referral)

Advanced Hockey Basics
30 minutes of instruction on advanced hockey skating and hockey skills. Players will begin to be introduced to game play. All skaters will be in full hockey gear, available at Hamilton Center. 30 minutes of optional practice time will be available on the small ice prior to the start of class. (Must complete Intermediate Hockey Basics or instructor referral)

Youth Hockey Classes - 8 week session, August 14 - October 4, 2014

Adult Hockey

Beginner Adult Hockey Drop-In
Fridays 9:15 - 10:45pm
Beginner Drop-ins are open to all beginner hockey players.  This is a great opportunity to work on skating and stick handing during a hockey game with no ref on the ice.  Drop-in is $12.

**Some Adult Drop Ins may be cancelled due to other rink activities.  Please call ahead with any questions (812)376-2686.**

Intermediate Play
Times Vary - Contact Hamilton Center Staff (812)376-2686 or check ice schedule.
Adults looking for a competitive yet recreational game are encourage to come out and play with the intermediate group.  This level is for those players that are ready to test their hockey skills against other recreational players around with a ref on the ice.  Drop-in is $15.
