The fee for each improvement location permit hereafter issued shall be paid to and collected by the chief code enforcement officer and shall be in the amount of two dollars and fifty cents.

Building Permit Fees for New

Construction and Remodeling

    A.    Residential Structures.

    1.    One- and Two-Family Dwellings. Minimum fee is one hundred dollars plus seven cents per square foot of gross floor area including attached garage or carport and the area of the basement (this fee included all required permits).

    2.    Additions and Remodeling. Minimum fee is fifty dollars plus seven cents per square foot of gross floor area.

    3.    Manufactured Homes. Minimum fee is fifty dollars plus seven cents per square foot of gross floor area including attached garage or carport and the area of the basement.

    4.    Decks and Patios. Minimum fee is thirty dollars plus five cents per square foot of gross floor area.

    5.    Accessory Structures to Residential Dwellings. Minimum fee is fifty dollars plus five cents per square foot of gross floor area.

    6.    Swimming Pools. Includes in ground or above ground swimming pools including fence; two inspections. Minimum fee is sixty dollars.

    7.    Demolition Permit. Minimum fee is thirty dollars.

    8.    Relocation Permit. Minimum fee is one hundred dollars plus seven cents per square foot of gross floor area.

    9.    Electrical Permit Only. Minimum fee is thirty dollars for first inspection plus thirty dollars for each additional inspection.

    10.    Plumbing Permit Only. Minimum fee is thirty dollars for first inspection plus thirty dollars for each additional inspection.

    11.    Heating Permit Only. Minimum fee is thirty dollars for first inspection plus thirty dollars for each additional inspection.

    12.    Ventilation Permit Only. Minimum fee is thirty dollars for first inspection plus thirty dollars for each additional inspection.

    13.    Air Conditioning Permit Only. Minimum fee is thirty dollars for first inspection plus thirty dollars for each additional inspection.

    14.    Heating and Air Conditioning Combination Permit. Minimum fee is thirty dollars for first inspection plus thirty dollars for each additional inspection.

    15.    Sprinkler Permit Only. Minimum fee is thirty dollars for first inspection plus thirty dollars for each additional inspection.

    16.    Reinspection Fee. Minimum fee is thirty dollars per inspection.

    17.    Roofing Siding Permit. Minimum fee is thirty dollars.

    18.    Permit Renewal For One Year (original permit good for two years). Minimum fee shall be fifty percent of the original fee.

    B.    Commercial, Industrial or Multifamily Structures.

    1.    New Construction For Multifamily Structures, Commercial Structures or Industrial Structures. Minimum fee is two hundred dollars plus seven cents per square foot of gross floor area including attached garage or carport and the area of the basement with a maximum permit fee of six thousand dollars (this fee includes all required permits).

    2.    Additions or Remodeling. Minimum fee is one hundred dollars plus seven cents per square foot of gross floor area including attached garage or carport and the area of the basement.

    3.    Accessory Structure. Minimum fee is one hundred dollars plus seven cents per square foot of gross floor area.

    4.    Relocation. Minimum fee is one hundred dollars plus seven cents per square foot of gross floor area.

    5.    Demolition. Minimum fee is thirty dollars.

    7.    Under Ground or Above Ground Storage Tanks. Minimum fee is sixty dollars.

    18.    Reinspection Fee. Minimum fee is thirty dollars per inspection.

    19.    Foundation Permit. Minimum fee is sixty dollars.

    20.    Cellular Towers and Control Buildings. Minimum fee is sixty dollars.

    21.    Permit Renewal for One Year (original permit good for two years). Minimum fee is fifty percent of original fee.

    C.    Miscellaneous Fee and Charges.

    1.    Garage Sales.

    a.    Minimum fee three dollars.

    b.    General rate of two dollars for permit and one dollar for each day of sale.

    2.    Penalty for Starting Work Before Obtaining Permit.

    a.    Minimum fee five dollars.
