A.    The city clerk-treasurer is elected by the voters pursuant to Indiana Code, 3-10-6 et seq.

    B.    The city clerk-treasurer shall take office at twelve noon on the first day of January following his or her election, and shall serve for four years and until a successor is elected and qualified pursuant to Indiana Code, 3-10-6. (Prior code § 2-4 (e), (f))
