A.    There is established in the city the department of code enforcement.

    B.    There is established an office of code enforcement which shall include the city board of zoning appeals organized under Indiana Code, 36-7. The office of code enforcement shall be responsible for faithfully and diligently enforcing any and all housing, building and zoning codes applicable to the city. (Prior code §§ 2-49, 5-26)
