A.    Any person found in violation of this chapter may have the adopted animal reclaimed and/or be issued a notice of violation.

    B.    Fines shall start at ten dollars for the first offense, with fines increasing by increment of five dollars for each subsequent offense within one year of the first offense, but not more than one thousand dollars. (Prior code § 4-46)
