8.24.050 Not for profit establishment regulations.
Not for profit establishments shall receive a maximum of three
pick-ups per week. All
corrugated and office paper must be separated from solid waste and recycled as per Section
8.24.240. Nonprofit establishments that accumulate solid waste in excess of four approved thirty-two
gallon containers shall be required to furnish a roll-up, three cubic yard container, which can
be easily moved to the back of a sanitation truck and unloaded. All containers must be in an area
which is easily accessible and three cubic yard containers must be on a paved apron. Any excess
accumulation of solid waste shall be the responsibility of the establishment generating such waste
and should be removed and disposed of properly or recycled at their expense.
Nonprofit establishments shall be responsible for regular and
routine maintenance of all
containers and the area in which they are stored. (Ord. 93-9 § 6, 1993)
