9.20.010 Curfew regulations.
A. It is unlawful for a child fifteen,
sixteen or seventeen years of age to be or remain in or
upon the streets, alleys or public places in the city:
1. Between one a.m. and five a.m. on
Saturday or Sunday;
2. After eleven p.m. on Sunday, Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday; and
3. Before 5:00 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.
B. It is a curfew violation for a child
under fifteen years of age to remain in or upon the
streets, alleys or public places in the city after eleven p.m. or before five a.m. on any day.
C. These regulations shall not apply
to a child who is:
1. Accompanied by his parent, guardian
or custodian;
2. Accompanied by an adult specified
by his parent, guardian or custodian; or
3. Participating in, going to or returning
from:
a. Lawful employment;
b. A school sanctioned activity; or
c. A religious event.
D. It is unlawful for any parent, guardian
or other person having the legal care and custody of
any person under eighteen years of age to allow or permit any such child, ward or other person
under such age while in such legal custody to go or be in or upon any of the streets, alleys or public
places in the city within the time prohibited in this section unless there exists a reasonable necessity
