Traffic

The Traffic Department is responsible for providing safe and visible signage on our roadways.

Responsibilities of the department include maintenance of traffic signals, traffic signs, painting of pavement markings, traffic counts, setting up barricades for temporary traffic control, emergency and special events.

Our crew also installs downtown banners for special events.

SIGHT DISTANCE ISSUES: 
If you see a stop sign blocked by limbs or tree too big to see around at an intersection, please contact us.

STREET/STOP SIGNS:  
We repair/replace damaged signs.  If you are requesting a new sign or a physically challenged sign please contact the Engineering Department.

TRAFFIC SIGNALS:  
We repair signals on city streets, however we do not repair signals that intersect with state highways.
