Three people were hospitalized, including a four-year-old boy, after a crash yesterday afternoon. At 2:48 p.m. on November 4, 2024, CPD officer and other local first responders were called to North Marr Road and East 450 North for a head on collision between two vehicles. The initial investigation indicates a silver GMC Terrain that was being driving by a 31-year-old woman with a 4-year-old boy passenger was traveling south on N Marr Road before the collision. The other vehicle involved, a black Buick Encore being driven by a 36-year-old woman, was traveling north on N Marr Road.
The driver of the Terrain complained of a possibly fractured arm, the 4-year-old passenger had possible internal injuries, and the driver of the Buick sustained an injury to her ankle. All three were transported to Indianapolis-area hospitals. The 4-year-old boy was last known to be in critical condition.
This is only preliminary information. The circumstances surrounding the accident are still under investigation by our detectives and the Accident Reconstruction Team.
