Parking to Support Residents and Businesses

The City of Columbus, under the direction of the Redevelopment Commission, owns and operates two parking garages in downtown Columbus.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Now Available in both Jackson Street and Second Street Garages

The City of Columbus is encouraging owners of environmentally friendly EV cars to visit the downtown area while doing their part to help slow emissions into our environment. These units offer charging capability to many vehicle types, from the Chevy Volt to the Tesla. Residents and visitors using our parking garages are welcome to use the charging stations. There are eight (8) EV charging stations available – four (4) in each garage. These stations are available for a fee. Patrons may visit the station and download the charging app for hassle-free use and payment.
