Join us at the Community Mental Health Initiative Kick-Off on April 5, 2023 to mark the beginning of a community-wide initiative addressing challenges and improving the mental health system for the wellbeing of Bartholomew County. This event will include remarks from experts and local leaders in healthcare, education and government.

We are a community-wide initiative created to address challenges and improve the mental health system for the wellbeing of all individuals of Bartholomew County. It is a collaborative effort that involves mental health service providers, healthcare system, school systems, local judicial system, city and county government, and social service organizations.

The state of our residents’ mental health is a crisis that demands immediate attention. It is affecting every aspect of their lives, from work performance and school achievements to personal relationships.

The goal of this initiative is to enhance the current mental health system, thereby increasing its ease of navigation and accessibility to our diverse population. By improving the overall mental health and wellbeing of the community, we will be able to create a healthier, more resilient, and connected community for all.
